From March to September 2024, Offshootz LLC collaborated with the Washington State Developmental Disabilities Council (WADDC) to deliver transformative diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) learning opportunities.
Through tailored services, Offshootz facilitated DEI training sessions, a full-day workshop, and a Train-the-Trainer program to equip Council staff and members with the tools to build stronger relationships and foster a more inclusive environment. Resources like a Land Acknowledgment, Communication Guide, and Values Diagram were also developed to support WADDC's ongoing efforts.
As WADDC continues its DEI journey, Offshootz encourages reflecting on the Council's history through a racial justice lens and strengthening interpersonal connections through small group engagements.
