The Council is seeking applicants for the new Commerce Specialist 3 position. This position will work closely with the Planning Director and the team that deals with internal Council operations, including, contracts, State Plan development, federal reporting, Council meeting planning, other event planning and support and accommodations. The Council is seeking candidates who:
- Have a commitment to innovation, including the ability to think outside of the box and develop creative pathways to overcome barriers, negotiate solutions and achieve collective results.
- Have lived experience and/or one year experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
- Have familiarity with common document creation and communication programs including but not limited to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe Acrobat, Zoom and social media platforms.
